WHERE TO BUY Factory Sig Sauer P226 Black Aluminum Elite Dark Grips???

If you don't care for the 226 roll marks on the grips, Hogue has the plain version. I've read that the Sig 226 AL grips are outsourced to Hogue. $120.US from Brownells and $11 shipping.

Read it on a couple forums, one of them being Sig Talk. They look just like the ones on my Elite Dark minus the 226 roll markings.

Edit: 'cause I'm such a nice guy, I removed my grip panel. I knew I've seen it in person before. lol

Hey LM. The grips pictured on the Questar page are the older models, which you may not be able to get anymore, not sure. Those are by far the best looking IMHO. Bare in mind aluminums scratch easy, wouldn't stop me though. Just in case your interested williams arms in port perry have two sets of 226 rosewood's in stock at 120. You'd have to call to order. Rosewood's are big and a offer a little less grip, but so damn good looking.
 
Sh!t, now I want to buy a base 226 to put Rosewood grips on it... thanks guys :rolleyes:

I've seen the Rosewood grips up close and they are beautiful. I wouldn't put them on a Combat though... would look out of place. On a SS or nitron Sig it would look great!
 
I picked up a set of these exact grips in the EE parts forum here (I've got the ones like Cpt. Flan posted above with white text). They installed perfectly to my older P226, and the grip texture and feel is amazing. Hogue aluminum's are a must on a Sig to replace the plastic grips!

I was debating if I needed new grips at all, and after installing them I will gladly pay retail next time knowing how amazing they are.

The white lettered versions are the earlier Elite Dark grips and were not rolled/engraved. The text is just a silk-screen or something with no depth, and Sig changed to engraved black text on newer versions.
