Where to buy in GTA...

Not too many store fronts carrying IPSC gear, you will see vendors out at level 3's and some level two's. Best buys are out on the web, but here are some places to check out;

The IPSC store has some good stuff (Nick is in Oakville last I heard);

The RU Ready timers used to be able to be bought right out of the warehouse at Cawthra and Queensway, not sure if this is still the case or not.

Double Tap has some stuff, and Josko is in Miss.;

Target Sports has some stuff as well, they are up off the 404 at Stoufville sideroad;

Should give you a start anyways.

look at the new CED timers...i know Alex S and Freedome Ventures were selling them. The Shooters Connection bag is the bag to get if you don't mind ordering from the US.

The 5.11 Tactical Bags are identical to the Shooters Connection bags, and can be bought from Tetragon in Canada.

Another option for shooters bags is ShootersGear (can be Googled under the name "shootersgear") located in Ontario. His deluxe bags are excellent, a bit pricier than the 5.11 Tactical bags, but with superior zippers.

I've been using shootersgear bags for years, they are really sturdy and very functional - they are great.

+1 for the 5.11 range bag, no problems so far.
Also, Kens bags (shooters gear) are top notch from what I have been told
== you can't go wrong with either

I would urge people not to shop at Tetragon. I had unbelievably bad service from them. There are plenty of other good merchants in the area to get stuff from. Be smart and dont shop at Tetragon.

Anyone have the dimensions of those bags? I'm looking for a new one because my current one is too small.

Yeah its almost the same size as the Uncle Mikes Range bag. Just has some different options on it.

That's unfortunate, I have the Uncle Mike's already and it is too small. Anyone know of one that is larger or has the dimensions of the Shooters Connection bag so I can compare? I also heard that the Shooters Connection bag doesn't have double zippers for locking, can anyone comment?

USP, do you mind elaborating what your 'bad service' experience was all about.

I have been shopping at Tetragon for several years and have NOT had any issues whatsoever. They have been great for service, product selection, and prices. For your bad experience, have you had a chance to talk to Wil or Graham to resolve the problem and given them a fair chance to rectify your 'bad service' incident?

I know that a couple of months ago, they were in a storefront/warehouse expansion and were in the middle of changing their web hosting service. If you were ordering off of their website, the web service, apparently, was not processing any customer orders because of a technical issue. Tetragon did not find out for about a month and until customers were calling to query the status of their items.

Anyways, your bad incident is your experience. For myself, I would definitely recommend Tetragon for any of their products.

I had a problem once with tetragon, something happened and my small order was not sent out (maybe $30-40 worth of gear). I called and the guys rectified it promptly. They sent out the order and sent me a nice golf style shirt with Tetragon Crest (a guy shooting an AR-15) on the chest..
In another order they sent me a free T-shirt with large emblem on the back and small one on the front..... cool shirts.!
A few of the shooters are involved in IPSC, and they also supply simunitions for some Canadian Agencies.

the shirts alone were worth what I had paid for one of my orders.

Maybe he's thinking of a different bag.

5.11 Tactical Range Bag measures 24" x 16" x 10"
Uncle Mike's Field Bag looks about the same size, but the photos make it look kind of floppy. I like a more solid bag.
Uncle Mike's Deluxe Range Bag measures 15" x 9" x 7"
The Shooters Connection Bag IS the 5.11 Tactical Bag with slightly different zippers.
The Shootersgear bags are the same size as the Shootersconnection/5.11 bags but with far superior zippers, but are a bit floppy and more expensive.

Thanks for the dimensions! I have the Uncle Mike's Delux Range Bag, when I fill it to the nines I can make the outside dimensions stretch to 16" x 16" x 7", the extra 8" in length would make a huge difference. Sounds to me like I need the 5.11 Tactical or the Shooters Connection/ShootersGear bag.

Yeah actually I met Graham at the range and shot with him. Nice guy. I was planning on ordering a substantial amount of gear off them, as Graham made me some offers that sounded pretty good on some stuff.

Basically their in store personnel seems to feel that when they take your money its ok to lie to you numerous times, jerk your around, not call you back and generally give you neither value nor any tangible goods for your troubles. I tried multiple times to work with them and get it resolved. Quite frankly it was some of the worst customer service Ive had in a very long time. If you want to shop there go ahead, but I wont.
