Hey all,
I am currently in the market for an under-barrel launcher (37mm or so) and I am wondering where to buy one new in box or perfect condition used, for a fair price ; I am not paying 3000$ for a launcher unless it's a M203 with 500 HEAT rounds. Any shops have some, or can they be brought in Canada since they're technically not firearms?

Well if something is in high demand and in low numbers you should expect it. You dont see guys saying they want to buy gold but only if they can pay the price of lead.

Now anymore places to get them from? Are they all in individuals hands or are still some of them in stores ? Can they still be imported? Any canadian made launchers?

An M203 is 40mm. They run $450US for the barrel alone. About 2 grand US for the whole thing. Practice ammo runs $250US per 25. 40mm paraflares run $55US EACH.
A Cobray 37mm launcher that'll hang off an AR-15 runs $200US and up. Handguards and mounts are extra. 37mm flares run $99.99US per 10 and they're considered to be Hazmat shipping items.

Correct me if I'm wrong,

M203's are now restricted.. <- Do a search on the board for details..
37mm's are still good to go.

No export permits are being released from the states. So either you find one in private hands, or from some European country.

As for rounds, your pretty much stuck on buying hulls, and reloading your own. There are practice/dummy rounds around.

Prices are high because of supply/demand.

I believe Dimaco builds M203's (in Canada), but good luck getting one from them.

Awww... really pricey... but hey wanna play gotta pay i guess. Gonna call the bank monday :D

P.S. /ignore list : Armedsask;)

There are some dealers that are using special methods so that ocasional newer launchers come in, but they do it because they know the insane prices they can charge.

some one in canada could make them? i still think its would be interesting to open up a firearms and accessories factory in canada. it would make jobs for those that dont have one and it would solve the US import-export laws ,

Its been tried and abandoned. The Canadian market won't bear what it would cost to manufacture the barrels.
