Where to buy Lee Anniversary kit?

Hi Mike,

higginsonspowders is in Hawkesbury. You can get it there by phone, email or drop in.

Great place to buy loading stuff. I go there every two months.

Cheers

the_big_mike why are you looking for that press? it is junk! :puke:

Really just trying to save you some Big dispointment, I have seen these cheap reloading frames brake also the scale is junk. If you can, hold off try and get a cast frame like Redding, RCBS, Hornady or something better.

With the Lee kit the only good parts in there are the priming tool - collets & little nick-nacks. As for a scale try and get a RCBS 502 model or better. Dillion is good

Many guys, many opinions! If you load occasionally for hunting and range at about 100 rounds per session go for the AK. I like the scale and the press! Good value for the money! I guess, if I brake a Lee press I did something wrong. Most damage is done by wrong handling and a cast iron press is more forgiving.

I do not reload or own any reloading equipment, but am looking into getting into it soon. Therefore I have read tons of threads on it, and read countless posts on people who own one, and I think for someone on a tight budget and who is not gonna produce tons of ammo, the anniversary kit may be worth looking at.

If I was to go that route I would try the new breech lock 50th Anniversary kit they now have. I think its a good kit to get someone into reloading for not a lot of money.....

Another thing you have to think about is that if you take to reloading you will likely replace more the half of the kit and end spending more than you would have on an rcbs rochchucker kit. Then again it may exactly what you need.

my two cents...

X2

The Aniv. Kit is good deal, just make sure you lube your brass. If you want to upgrade to better press, later their classic is a good one.

We all have an opinion on good and bad products, but I do not agree with Brocolt. I have the Lee anniversary kit and it has, and is, serving me just fine. I handload 223, 6.5x55, 308,30-06,and 300wsm with it and have not had any problems with anything that came in the kit and I have loaded over 2000 rounds so far. Good value for the dollar in my opinion.
