I'm starting to look for a LRF 1200 scan. Lots of choices for deals in the US, but does anybody have a good source in Canada? is there any problem with exporting LRFs from the US??? Anybody got a used one they would like to sell?

Check with Russell Sports. They have them in their website catalogue. I was going to buy this model a few years ago, then waited for the new BRF bino/RF combo. Sweet unit I love the idea of only carrying 1 unit instead of 2, but I never bought it. Wife would of killed me for $2200. Anyhow I bought the Bushnell Legend Pro in camo. Works great. I would suggest the new RF product being release from Leupold.Chech them out on their website.

If you still want the LRF LEica, check out ebay.

LeBaron's in Ontario/Quebec carry the Leica rangefinders. I bought the LRF1200. Nice unit. It works very well, and seems to be able to range quite a bit further than my buddy's Bushnell Yardage Pro. On the military range, it works all the way to 1000 measured yards and is within 1 yard accuracy. I can range further than 1000, but it starts to become hit and miss around 1100-1200 yards, depending on the reflective surface. BTW: The Bushnell is every bit as accurate as the Leica. It just can't seem to get nearly as far, and starts to choke at 800 yards. Leica crowds $800, whereas the Bushnell was around $450 if memory serves.

Leica LRF 1200

I am new to this forum. One of my customers suggested that I register, so here I am. We are authorized Leica dealers and ship to Canada. We ship thru USPS so you do not get charged a carrier fee as I understand you do with UPS or DHL.
We get lots of used and discontinued items directly from Leica with Leica warranties. We just received some LRF 1200 Non-Scans in that are new goods with a full Leica warranty. These would be $429.99 including shipping to Canada. If you are interested please let me know.
