Hi,

My father is looking to reload for an old 12 guage side by side. He is in need of 1/2" lubricated felt wads. I know he said he could order them from the US (either Buffalo Arms or Dixie Gun Works, can't remember which one), but is there anyone in Canada who sells them??

Thanks,
Matt

I make 'em for myself, and lube 'em with BP lube so it's a messy proposition. I'm not sure of what type lube the US ones use but it's not messy at all. For reloading BP shotshells the messiest ones that hold the most lube will make your cleanup much easier and faster.

a friend had told me, that u can use ceiling tiles, (like from an office building) they are made of a paper like substance and can take lube. use a old shell with a mandrel or a sharpened knife edge holesaw to cut them. at home depo u can get un-textured tiles for a couple of dollars each and make a bunch from one.

Absolutely, Becky Is the best, good folks too! The ceiling tile thing is a great idea, never thought of it, the wife won't be happy when they start disappearing from the ceiling 1 at a time.

at the home depo they will probably give u a good deal or free for the broken ones scattered about where they are stacked on the shelf. its an idea...
