I just ordered I 1911 spring kit from Brownells and the just sent me an email saying my order is shipped except for the springs "DUE TO CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENTS WITH THE MANUFACTURER ITEM(S) HAVE BEEN CANCELLED FROM YOUR ORDER, WE REGRET THE INCONVENIENCE."

I am looking for a good quality reduced main spring to lighten trigger pull, and some heavier recoil springs 17#, 18.5#, 20#

Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks

Which manufacturer did you try to buy?

I got a Wolf kit from Brownells awhile back.

Is there no other manufacturers?

If not I'd try Bits Of Pieces. They have a lot of small parts available for a lot of guns.

Dlask is another option.

One spring was made by "Wolf" and the others by "Night Hawk Custom"

I got the email right after 5:00PM so I could not call and change the order as they were closed.

They are a great company to ship from.
Call and ask to speak with thier gunsmith and tell him your from Canada and he'll be able to find you parts you need that are shipable.

I would of called them and done this but they were closed, this is the first time I have had trouble ordering from from Brownells. I decided to make an order with Wolf, we will see if it goes through.

Got mine direct from WOLFF. Great folks to deal with and shipping is cheap. $25 minimum order on international orders.

X100!! I've used them numerous times. they ship direct to home, always faster then brownells, less hassle at the border. (ie, ever brownell's package i get is covered in yellow border tape where they cut it open. nothing from wolf ever is)
