Where to buy savage actions...

I'm looking for a stainless Savage right hand action... does Savage sell just actions?? Do any smiths sell them???

Or do I have to buy the rifle and sell the parts i don't want???

I've seen the target actions purchased separately and I think savage listed them on their website individually but you I'd bet you would have a hard time and a long wait to get one in Canada. The stevens 200 is a quick and cheap way to go for an action. I paid 300$ plus tax then sold my bbl for 70$ and my stock for 40$. If you buy one of the target or precision varmiter models it is not as economical, but they shoot good out of the box.
 
There was a shop in Kamloops that was selling Savage actions. That was last June when I went thru there. Can't remember the name of the shop, but maybe some of our B.C. CGN'ers know of it.......Ken

Mark at The Powder Keg still has one in stock. Target Action .223 Boltface in RBLP config (If memory serves me correct)
It has a bit of my drool on it. :D
