Where to buy: SKS D firing pin

I need a new firing pin for a Norinco SKS D. Where do I find one? Are they the same as other SKS rifles?

marstar lists sks parts including firing pin.i don't know if they're yugo or if they would be any different than the norc. i would not think the D model would be any different as well as they were converted models.

Good info on the firing pin. One question I can't find an anwer to though: if I wanted to replace the whole bolt, not just the firing pin, would any Norc SKS bolt from a place like Lever do? or will I have to hunt for a D - specific one?

The SKS-D bolt is narrower on the bottom to fit inbetween the mag lips of the AK mag, one would have to mill a regular SKS bolt down to fit properly on the D.

The D model has a shorter gas tube and piston too. The firing pin should be the same, but don't quote me. I'll have to check on that as I thought the bolts were interchangeable.

The D model is a completely different reciever, namely at the front of the mag well under the barrel. It has to be to use AK mags. As mentioned, the bolt is narrower. You can use a regular SKS bolt in a D, but it won't work with the mags.

murray's gunsmithing in texas has stainless steel firing pin and return spring for SKS and SKS D i bought one and it works pretty well

Not true. The older models with the spike bayonet had standard gas tubes.
The newer ones without bayonet have shorter gas tubes. I own both of them.
