Anyone know where I can buy a 26 or 28 inch field barrel for the stevns 320??if these barrels have a bead sight, but my Stevens 320 has a ghost ring sight on the receiver could these two sights work together effectively ?

The ghost ring won't be compatible with a plain bead. The front sight on your original bbl likely has a ramp with some form of a blade or post designed to work with the rear sight.

Yea it does have a ramp with a post for a forward sight. So if I find a field barrel with a head sight it's best to ignore the ghost sight and just focus on the bead ? Or would that be difficult as well?

The ghost ring will be an obstacle in that instance. BTW, I just googled the Stevens 320 to see how that looked like - is yours equipped with a pistol grip? If so, that could become another handicap if your are planning on using the new bbl to shoot at moving objects.

I have the non pistol grip. If this has a fixed cylinder choke , then that means it's just a cylinder bore ( no choke )?

I think the 28" barrel would fit , they can come in a package deal, I just didn't have the 2 barrel field version as an option when I got my 320

If using the long barrel for wing shooting ie live birds and clay targets best to just remove the ghost ring from the receiver . I assume its mounted with a screw or set of screws . does the field model 320 have the long mag tube if not the field barrel may not fit your defender style 320 .

Well - your pic shows it looking like the 28 in barrel is not compatible. Looks like the internet has led you astray... Stick with the cylinder bore choke, and pick up a conservation hunting licence from the MNR special office.
