Hi,

I read every thread and answers from thi forum on "Precision Rifles".

This forum has many experts and others who have a very practical experience.

I just enjoy reading your posts.

I am planning to shoot long range, in prone position: I already have the gun, the spotting scope, and some good dreams...

I would like to know where ( online internet ) you use to buy your "things" ( not rifles, nor barrels, nor stoks...) but other things... mats, "screens" to write on your scores while you shoot, timer ( 45 sec between each shoot...), tec,. etc...

Your attention is greatly appreciated.

centerthegroup.com for shooting mats.
Go to the US Palma web site for plotting sheets.
You won't need a timer to time your shots. If you are taking too long your shooting partner will give you a dirty look as a first warning. The second warning will be a verbal one from your shooting partner. The third warning will be from the range officer;)
Just to clear this up a bit, you have 45 seconds to fire a shot once your target becomes available. This means once you call the other persons score and they agree, you have 45 seconds to fire a shot. So really you are not firing a shot every 45 seconds. If the target is down and the butt markers are looking for a shot hole, this does not eat into either shooters 45 seconds per shot. It does however eat into the overall time you and your partner have to fire the match. If the marking is extremely slow, notify the range officer as soon as possible and he may grant extra time. However, if the RO calls down to the butts about slow marking there is a good chance your next shot could be a miss:rolleyes:
