Where to find a Leupold VX3 1.5-5x20 in the GTA?

Leupold VX3 1.5-5x20 (matte or glossy). Illuminated or standard.

Looking for either German #4 or Duplex reticle...

I would like to top this rifle with a more modern scope... nothing wrong with the Nickel, but I want to protect it from the elements.

I'm in the GTA and need the scope by Friday. Thanks!!

Alternatively, I have a VXR in 1.25-4x20 with an illuminated #4 type reticle that I'm going to mount on a certain Sako after I've hunted her with irons... it's a nice scope, maybe you can find one? It takes 30mm rings though.

Yeah, I need to stick with 1 inch rings for now. I have no reservations about using an illuminated reticle however.

Change of plans. Vintage Nickel-Marburg 2.5x scope off to Germany (Nickel repair centre) for refurbishment.

I picked one up on your advice. How's yours working out on the 85?

I actually haven't got those rings apart yet! Had to get my hands on a soldering iron and vise, which I now have. May get to it tomorrow.

It will be a nearly perfect optic for the gun though I'm sure.

Sako probably used red loctite!

My real suspicion is that they were mounted prior to being sold to you. Sako's literature states that they are shipped with the fasteners loosely tightened. The condition obviously indicates that they weren't used, but I don't believe Sako did this. More likely the gun counter at the store you got them from.

Either way, I'm confident now that I'll get them loose without issue. Already have the 30mm replacement rings in hand to mount that VXR. The quick-detach mounts are really nice, and based on some interweb searching, made from at least 80% virgin Unobtanium! Sako doesn't even list them anymore, as near as I can tell.
