Success! I found some STEEL.
Managed to find 3lbs, and it was even local. If anyone else is looking for some, there were 2lbs left after I got mine. Stittsville Shooting Ranges in Ottawa.
Thanks I go there on occasion how was there other powders?
Well stocked. They said they got a huge shipment of alliant 2 months ago and have most things left, though they are nearly out of STEEL again (thanks to me).

I'm not new to reloading but reloading for shotgun is a complete mystery for me, i have a couple questions sorry to hijack your post.
What size/weight/length shell do you reload?
Is it possible to load heavy for waterfowl? I'm assuming that's what you're doing?

I'm weird. This is for buffered No.2 and BB loads in a 16 gauge 870 using Cheddite 2,3/4" hulls and VP80 wads.
In 12, I just buy store bought. Reloading in 12 isn;t any cheaper and the loads I want are readily available in store.
In 16g, not so much.
In terms of "loading heavy", always follow tested load data.
I may try some bismuth this year. Got a hold of a good bismuth manual from Bilozir.
