Not sure of the propper name for the product I want, but heres the situation.
I want to mount a surefire style laser (green one from ebay) to a scoped rifle.
Now heres the tricky part. She doesnt want to mount it to the scpe with a figure 8 mount because sh wants to be able to switch from glass to a red dot from time to time, but still keep her laser zeroed. An accessory rail is out, and so is a barrel mount.
We need to find a mount that will attach to the main picatiny rail the scope is attached to, but beneath the scope and offset to either side, (Preferably left side) so thatthe lasers beam will clear the mounted scope.
I dont think that this would be ideal because it looks kinda loose. But here is a pic from ebay to give an idea of what she wants.
