Where to find bees wax?

I'd like to try my hand at some of the many home made black powder lubes I see on-line. Where can I find larger quantities of bees wax at a decent price?

Find a bee farmer, I'm near brandon Manitoba I get mine from a honey farmer that charges a few dollars a Lb. I use it as lube for my hand planers works great. If your in Manitoba I can pm you the details

We have a lot of large honey producers around here so I buy it by the honey pail full. Once you have it you find other uses too. Try online as I know some of the producers sell it that way.

Get filtered beeswax, unfiltered can have junk in it that isn't good for bullet lube.

Sometimes your local craft store will also have it - the volume and price can vary though from "what a great deal" (usually locally sourced) to "Ouch no thanks". But never hurts to have a look, I've found some at ours for cheaper than buying direct from the beekeepers.
