where to find bulk 2 3/4" shells ?

the whole 15-18 dollars for 5 shells is killin me .

any options besides reloading ?

Most gun stores sell bricks of 250 for around 60 bucks.

I went to a small CT .
got ripped a new ####### lol .

even at a few local stores were high , hence the question .
I saw cheap ones at walmart and ct (online) but never in store .
I would love 250 for 60 .

Prettyy sure i saw a box of 25 00B at LeBaron for around $20 on the weekend.

You'll only find birdshot for $60 per 250

Load yer own. 60 bucks for a Lee Load All 2. Keep your hulls and re stuff em. I figure I'm down to 30 cents a slug or a buck round. Currently Clays, 700x or 800x is on for 22 bucks a pd at cabelas. I make my own slugs but buy Hornady Buck. Myself I prefer 27 pellets of #4 buck over Herco. Heh.

I gave up early on trying to hunt down cheap buck and slug ammo. Like CreamySmooth I bought a Lee Load-All 2 and load my own. A $40 00 buck mould, $30 1oz slug mould, $50 press, and free lead smelted from WW's (though that's getting harder to find.)

I can make 8 pellet (~1oz) buckshot loads and slug loads for $.40 each if buying lead for $2/lbs or $.30 each if getting free lead. Absolute cheapest I have found factory slugs is $.75 each and buckshot $.80 each. Plus I can load up or down in power as I see fit. I have loaded 1oz slugs down to 900fps for plinking and up to 1650fps for dragon slaying (factory "1600fps" slugs only chrony 1450fps when I checked.) It's easy to find recipes for 8, 9, and 12 pellet 00 buckshot loads in 2-3/4" hulls.
