Where to find bulk .30carbine?

Bought an NR M1 carbine, I've seen some places that sell .30 in boxes of 50. It isnt priced too badly, but I'd like to buy bulk and keep the costs down, are there any reloadong services available?

Also what kind of ammo do these things prefer? FMJ?

I have not found it in bulk anywhere but some dealers here used to sell the Prvi partizan FMJ at a decent price. The FMJ is much cheaper than the hunting rounds that can also be found in some big box stores.

The carbine is a great rifle. you might need to look around for mags, they seem to be the usual source of any feed problem.

I have found mine really likes standard FMJ projectiles. It will feed soft point but with my 1944 Inland FMJ seems to shoot better.

Agree with the comment on magazines. My USGI magazines feed flawlessly while my commercial copies feed reliably about 90% of the time.
