Where to find cheap .308 ammo

Anybody know where I can find some cheap .308 ammo.
The cheapest stuff I can find around here is $15 a box.

Its gettin expensive to feed my rifle

yea thats the best your gonna get when ever you see surplus 308 you have to strike hard and by atleast 5 crates to get a good deal who knows when the next stuff is commin in

Spoke to a local surplus importer in Montreal (Districorp) they told me to call them back in September to get a better idea of when their next shipment of SA surplus is coming in. They said it might be the last but they also said it always seems like the last. So.....for now I'm buying American Eagle (Federal) 155 grain FMJ for $20 a box. I haven't shot it yet though.

Cheapest .308 ammo falls out of station #4 of my Dillon 550 into the catch tray. Match loads for pennies a pop!

Cheapest factory ammo is to be had at Canadian tire providing of course you have been saving your C T money for a while, plus the Federal Power Shok in 308 starts at 14.99 for 150 gr ammo that shoots very well out of my VS Rem. Knock off two or three dollars a box in C T money, and voila reasonable ammo.
Now the guy the Dillon ammo for pennies, you must have stocked up on componants 30 years ago. FS

"...gettin expensive..." Reloading helps some. You usually end up using more expensive components and shooting a whole lot more. You do use better ammo though.

sometimes you get lucky at gunshows. A freind and I bought 430 rounds of surplus .308 this spring for $150.00.

Start reloading and don't look back. However, if you must....Canadian Tire carries Federal stuff for about 14 bucks a box.
