Looking fior a decent quality target airt rifle for indoors winter pratice and heving a hell of a time finding anything.

Is there a canadian dealer for good quality air rifles or a place for a decent used one ?

Try Tesro in Ottawa They are listed under our dealer network Know them well excellent product good people to deal with

How much $$ do you want to throw at it?

To me, it's easier to justify (if there's a need) spending $$ on a nice air rifle...
- I can shoot it at home... therefore I save on $$ money not having to drive somewhere
- Being able to use it at home, I'll use it more often.... therefore the cost-per-shot will be much lower than a gun that just sit in the safe
- u Match quality pellets will cost you $12/500... it's quite a bit less than Eley Match @ $180/500 or center-fire match ammo at + $2 a shot

Heck, buying a nice airgun will save you money!
;)

Some great points, i'm looking in the $1000 Price right.

Looking for something I can practice prone shooting with, I missed a Feinwerkbau on the EE it would've been perfect.

Cheers

If you look at the US 4-H shooting programs, they have to shoot prone, so the 'approved' rifles will have a prone-friendly stock.

The Air Arms T200 is quite popular. (A re-badged CZ 200T)

Or the Air Force Edge, if you like the space-gun ergonomic better

Both of these rifles can be had for $700-$800 new.

For a little more money (+/- $1500), you'll find biathlon trainer.

If you don't mind cocking the rifle after each shot (and getting out of position) the Daisy 853 is pretty good. That's what the cadets used.
