Where would one find Mosin Nagant 7.62X54r soft point and FMJ ammunition and what would the prices be for such ammo?

Also are the 7.62X.39 available in a soft point and where do I go to get em?

If anyone who sells this ammo and is willing to ship please PM me or post a reply on the thread.

Thanks,

Dont know where to get it in your province but I know that S&B and Prvi Partisan are brands of it that i've run across and they run about 22$ a box they also do SP 7.62x39

Shipping rate's are nutz right now. I have some boxer primed x39 for sale but to ship it to a guy in kelowna it will cost me a little over $40!:eek: just for a hundread rounds...
But if I wanted to ship the box of 500 rounds it would only cost me a little over $50. All 3 company's that I have gone to all want $30 gangerous goods fee. So I think the real question is...
Are your willing to pay for shipping?

Thanks for all the replies guys. I can get surplus 7.62X39 here in Winnipeg but is only available in a FMJ which means I can only use it to sight my rifle. Big game hunting in Manitoba prohibits the use of jacketed ammunition but they allow it for rabbits and other small game. Seems humane.

The plan was to bag a buck this fall but for that I need some soft point ammo or the fake buck working with wildlife officers will be out looking for me. They also say they do roadside check stops to make sure all hunters comply and will be happy to confiscate firearms and first born children for a first offense. Second time caught, they will lock up my grand parents, take everything I own, and then send me to work camps up in Nunavut for the remainder of my life.

I read another site where a guy posted "fear a government that fears its citizens possessing firearms" and I have to agree. They must be planning some real fun stuff for us in the future. Like the UK's single round bolt action deal.

All I need is one soft point round to fill my freezer; okay, maybe five but this is discouraging to say the least. Right now all I have to work with are the two cartridge sizes until I can pick up a .308 bang-stick down the road.

Anyone in Winnipeg want to sell a couple of soft point rounds to a fellow gun nut? Either way, please feel free to lend advice what might be my best bet for getting some ammo.

Cheers :ar15::canadaFlag::50cal:
