I'd like to find these for my son's 7mm-08 to try for hunting white tail this year but my naivety as a sophomore reloader has once again bitten me in the arse. He's got a stainless weather warrior and I'd like to surprise him with some of these. The ballistic tips have been testing really well with Varget at 200 yds.

I've tried X reload and local sporting shops in Saskatoon, surfed the supplying retailers here, and even put in a back order at a retailer 6 weeks ago, but I believe these won't be in our hands in time. (At this point I'd even consider a partial box...a dozen or so would do. )

Regards all,

Ron

FYI ballistics tips are identical to ballistic silver tips save for the Lubalox coating.

You could try those

They are also identical to the Accubond except for the "bonding process" that makes them expand slower.

All 3 are interchangeable when load testing.

Exactly.

Just want to have black/silver round to go with his black /stainless rifle. BT s whether black or copper will operate the same.

Those are just the regular Ballistic Tips, not the Combined Technologies. I have a half empty box sitting under my reloading bench right now of the CT's.

I'm with Neilm, give Raynershine a phone call, he usually has a pretty good supply of bullets. Not sure of your timeline, but there's a gun show in Swift Current on November 5 and 6 coming up and I'm sure Rayner will be there, along with a bunch of other retailers. If you're coming to the show, give Bowyer's outdoor sports a phone call to see if he has any as well that he might bring to the show. He is from Maple Creek.

Thanks all.

Neilm I'll try Raynershine. I was told he may have swift bullets as well.

'92 thank you for the indicating the differences. Speedy Creek is a bit out of the way at that time of year for me but I will look up the show. Thanks for the leads as well.

Regards
Ron
