Where to find older style CAR stock?

Anyone know where I can find the older-style CAR stock in a milspec tube diameter? I just need the stock itself, not the buffer tube, spring, buffer, etc.

I can't seem to find any online vendors in Canada and Brownells desn't carry the old-type CAR stocks any longer.

Marstar used to have similar stocks, but they aren't in inventory and I think they were commercial tube spec.

I *THINK* the Colt 6920 used to ship with the stock I need, not that I can find any around - lol.

This is what I'm looking for (minus the tube, nut and end plate):

No one makes that stock anymore, not even Colt. Best bet is to put a want to buy in the EE, I've gotten a couple that way. Stag used to make a milspec one but discontinued it a couple of years ago AFAIK.

ETA: Colt Canada does make a very similar stock but doesn't sell them. Colt did make some for the C7A2 upgrade in green but again these aren't available.

They might have a couple on hand, or might be considering firing up the older moulds again if there's interest.

But yea, the EE is probably your easiest. Actually, a month ago "dudley2112" did have one for sale on the EE, send him a private message, he might still have it.

Armalite looks like they have a carbine stock with the right shape, but one catch - it's fixed stock. I asked the same question last month, and I think you suggested ArmsEast, Wolverine, and Epps, so I assume they didn't have it.

It looks like UTG still makes them, and maybe they made the Marstar stocks? Could you import one from the US?
 
Hey Claven2, I may have what you want.

Been crazy busy, but in the next few days I'll try and look through my pile of AR stocks, must have well over 50 of them...

I suppose what I have could be called a stockpile.:p
 
I had one for the C8 and I tried to get the locking parts for it on CGN but came up empty. It went out with a carbine and arrived back with an internal parts altered. I still have it on one of my ARs and would trade it for another one. It can be repaired and used.
