Where to find recoil buffers for CZ75?

Hi all,
Looking at trying a recoil buffer but shipping from the US is prohibitive for a $10 part.

Anyone know where I can get one for CZ85 in Alberta or elsewhere?

Ive tried buffer tech buffs in my cz75,they work well but are pretty pricey at $10 each and then the crazy shipping from the US

I see that CRAFM ships some of their shadows with shockbuffs,perhaps they have them for sale individually

Having said that,Im not sure whether a buff is all that necessary in a 75

I made some new ones from the lid of a food saver. Just had to find a lid that was thick enough. They don't last anywhere nearly as long as the originals. But then they are basically free. I find that they are beaten to death about the same time that the gun is dirty enough to make my inner OCD voice force me to clean the poor thing. Namely every 500 to 600 rounds or so.

I didn't think the CZ75 came with a recoil buffer. Are these an aftermarket accessory?

Well.... my old pre"b" model had a half mashed up buffer pushed over the end of the recoil spring rod. When I found it had busted into three parts at some point I tossed it and ran for a short while with none. I felt guilty/worried enough that I made up a bunch and I've been stuffing them in when the old one was worn through. I posted wrong above. I get TWO cleanings out of each lid plastic buffer. It's pretty smashed up by the 5 to 600 rounds but still holding up. By the time I open up the gun the next time around it's split in two. Since it's hitting hard enough to do that I figure it's wise to have one in there most of the time.

Part of me says to put in the next stiffer recoil spring and try that and see if it still locks back and ejects reliably. I really need to get that shipment of "round tuits" in and that'll get me going on getting "around to" ordering up some CZ replacement springs and other small parts to keep my toys happy.

I believe the Canadian Edition Shadow comes with a buffer.

I run mainly mild loads but for the cost of the buffer I like the idea of taking the precaution although I am sure they are many 75/85's that have tens of thousand of rounds through them without issue.

CRAFM might have, asked me me to call back Monday so we will see. Many US sites like Brownells dont list the shipping the price when you check out so it could be $5 or $35....

Western Gun Parts might have them too.

I have yet to see the buffs available for sale on their own. I've got one that has seen about 20,000 rounds of 9mm and it still looks near new. They do save some of the metal on metal battering that takes place.
