Where to get 308 barrel Blank

It is doubtful that any local store would stock what you require...

There are several different contours(weights) and twists and in stainless or chrome moly... and a dozen different makers and qualities...

If you want an excellent stainless steel match grade barrel you can buy one directly from one maker in Sask... Ted Gaillard. Usually about $375 shipped... depending on weight, etc.

What are you going to do with a blank barrel?
 
I have a model 700 and want to put a heavy barrel on it. I have access to milling machines and a lathe and want to turn my own.. Just want a fairly inexpensive blank to play with..

Usually blanks do not come with a chamber cut... so you will also need a chambering reamer and a headspace gauge if you want to make it shoot... and you will probably have to import a barrel from the US if you want a cheap blank.
