Where to get 50lb bags crush walnut

Guys where do you buy your crush walnut or corn cob in large quanity 50lb bags?

Sandblasting supply companies or some blasting companies will sell it to you.
Some may not it's the luck of the draw.

Someone just posted a few days ago that Princess Auto had 40lbs bags on sale for 30.00. Don't know if it's a good deal but it's apparently on sale.

They sell English walnut in 50lb bags at my local pet store, though I have no idea how much. I do not use much, so I was happy when a puppy tore open a 50lb bag, and I was able to buy a much smaller bag when he parted it out.

Some pet stores do sell it. Petsmart as an example but blasting companies and suppliers are much less expensive. About half price the is what I found.

Make friends with a rig hand, it's used lots in the patch. Coarse or fine.

I bought mine from a pet store in Newmarket....50lbs of crushed walnut for $40, tax included....Works great....

Industrial safety equipment companies usually have it in stock pretty cheap too. They have crushed walnut shells, or corncob. The corncob usually gives a more shiny finish.
