where to get a barrel dent removed

I have an old sxs 16 I'd like to fix up but before I start I need to get a dent removed from the left barrel. The local guys I've spoke to don't have the gear to do a 16 so I'm wondering if anyone here knows anyone in south saskatchewan that might. I'm contacting a local machine shop that does some gun work tomorrow but after that I'm out of ideas. Thanks

I know some one who tried doing the same thing with a expanding mandrel and ended up expanding the barrel all the way around at that point. Maybe hammer it out on a steel round bar as close to the inside dia of the barrel???? Good luck let us know how you make out.

I had my 16 fixed by Nick Makinson in Ontario. You won't find someone with the equipment and expertise in Saskatchewan.
