Where to get a nice billet lower?

I understand forged receivers are stronger
I understand forged receivers are cheaper
I just like the looks of billet receivers more, so with that in mind, I'm looking to pick up a nice billet lower. It appears like shops seem to carry mostly forged lowers. Is anyone able to point me in a direction of a shop that sells nice billet lowers? a seekins precision would be my #1 choice, but I feel I may have to let that dry die :(

From what I've found, questar sells Spikes tactical billet lowers (and some other brand I am not familiar with)
RDSC sells noveske
CTC can (I assume) get some from Rainier
has anyone else else found vendors that sell some good billet lowers?

*EDIT* ATRS makes their own billet lower, a little more $$ then I wanted to spend for a stripped lower :(

Noveske is grossly overpriced for just a regular looking AR lower

I just purchase a seekins precision lower from IRG and a spikes hell breaker cuz I think they look totally badass

check IRG for AR stuff lots of cool parts no one else sells

I didn't find much when I was on IRGs webpage, maybe I wasn't filtering properly. Would you be able to tell me which seekins precision lower you got? Was it the SBA15 or the SP223?

ATRS has a great rep and I love supporting Canadian companies, but 550$ for a stripped lower is a little rich for my blood :( I can get a stripped Noveske for cheaper.

Did you check their U. S. website as they have a number of selections?

I got my first biklet lower from I run guns it's a a billet upper lower combo from Wilson Combat. I just ordered another billet lower from ##### armory made by Seekins Precision

You are absolutely correct in that the Noveske is cheaper, but in all fairness does not come with any of the improvements that we have incorporated into our lowers.
Things like captured springs, ambi bolt release, rear tensioner, not to mention the fit and finish.

Hush now, no complaining, you are building the barrel for this rifle! I have no doubt it'll be worth every penny, but I decided to splurge on the barrel. The lower, I'm trying to save a tiny bit as I don't believe it'll affect accuracy as much.

Unless you can give me some sort of "frequent buyer/he's a nice guy discount" *wink wink, nudge nudge* :p lol

I simply wanted to point out that there ARE differences and that those should also be taken into account as they DO affect the cost. When comparing apples, it is best to compare them to apples.

Many claim that the lower has no effect on accuracy, but to have a rifle where the upper and lower do not have a massive amount of play between them can only improve the overall accuracy of the rifle. Now with that being said, really how many guys have been able to stretch out an AR in this country? Most ARs tend to be used as closer range rifles simple due to them being restricted by law, hence few places to truly see what the rifle is capable of.

Yeah, I'm hoping to get a lower that has the tension screw to remove play between the upper and lower. I know seekins does it, as do other manufacturers. Trust me, I've drolled over your gear, and maybe I'll manage to find some $$ to make it happen, it's just a bit of a stretch to get there right now. :(

by any chance, could I PM you for an update on my barrel? I was told 4-6 weeks 4 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything (except for the downpayment was reserved on my CC). I'm probably a little premature, but I'm just super excited about it. I was fondling the upper and the handguard last night in anticipation. cou:

Best to email us at the shop for an update. Before you buy a lower touch base with me, I "may" have something you could be interested in.

If you want a seekins one. Ctcs is your best bet if you're willing to wait. They do monthly orders on rainierarms.com and do all the paperwork if its from the us

I ordered mine from a similar company that does US exports every month or so, I was going to go with CTCS but this company had the Seekins for $10 cheaper, and no $30 export fee. Love CTCS I have bought quite a bit from them, but they are not the cheapest or only option for getting stuff from the US market.

This company also offered to get me a non logo marked Seekins lower, they only had logo ones in stock but for the same price they brought in a non logo for me. If that matters to someone
