I've been calling around to gun shops in the HRM and surrounding areas trying to find someone that has the tools to properly check alignment of the rings while mounting the scope, alas no luck. I'm beginning to think that I might as well mount the scope myself and save myself enough money to buy a box of ammo...
I'm looking for a gunsmith that has a set of these (or similar) tools in his arsenal so that I can be sure the stresses on each portion of the scope body are equal. Any thoughts?
