Where to get a shim to replace EBR crush washer?

Need to delete this damn crush washer, anyone in Canada carry a spacer and shim kit for this?

No I'm looking to get rid of the crush washer and just use a spacer and shim kit... The shims are easy to find.. The spacer would not be that common and I may have to hack up the old front band if I can't lay my hands on one easily.

Last time I needed one, I made it with the lathe.... it was pretty expensive if you include machine time, but what else would you do at 12am and a deadline!

The time before that, I picked up a 5/8" flat washer and trimmed it to fit.

So I'm buying a lathe.... Cause no way I'm lapping down a washer by hand.

Go to a bolt specialty place, and buy a washer that is the right thickness and OD.

Then drill out the hole in the middle to .680"-.695"

If you're planning on trimming down a barrel band anyway, it won't be any more work than that.

Esthetics..... it will look a whole bunch better!

Also easier to time the gas system just "so"....
