Where to get and which front rail or barrel/band mount for 10/22

Finally getting around to do a few modifications on my 10/22 and TD.

I want to have the potential to mount a light or laser, or both. Can you recommend a rail, barrel mount or barrel band adapter? Nothing to expensive please.

Edit: do you also have a good replacement for the receiver's factory rail? I think the factory rails are too narrow for many scope rings.
 
$50 for just a small piece, and hical sells a complete quad rail forend for just $80.

I might just diy add a rail to the stock if I don't find anything cheaper.
 
I know - I couldn't justify $50 for that little piece either.

Once I shouldered a 10/22 in the Adaptive Tactical stock, I had to have one:

There is a built-in reversible rail on the bottom, where you see the bipod mounted in the picture (above).

I think before you replace the factory rail, you need to know what exactly you're mounting. The factory rail is a Weaver style rail (sort of), so it works with Weaver rings very well. If you want a true picatinny mount, search amazon.ca for the UTG 10/22 rail. I got one for $10.
