where to get antler/horns

Buddy wants to start making knives and different blades and asked me where to get different types of antler/horns to make handles.. I have no idea but figured somebody here would. Thanks

Or he could wait till the spring and grab the antlers that have fallen off from the deers. particularly if he wants a lot of them rather then just a pair a year. The fall off period is apparently in the spring of the year should be safe walking in the deer wood by then but he might want to wear orange just in case. Plus it's cheaper then buying them. (and I'm all about the cheap)

.Check with the local butchers, sheep goat & cattle horn as well as some exsotics. Antler at game farms & ebay. AJ
