Where to get good AK Mags???

I have 2 5/10rd AK pmags fitted for a Type 81 for sale for $70 + shipping if anybody wants to find out for sure ;)

IRG has pretty nice Croat AK mags in a 4 or 5 pack for a good price.

Was seriously just making the observation that if a firearm is designed to take a particular type of magazine then the mag wells of all shouldn't have so much differences in tolerance between them. I'm being critical of the manufacturer, not of your knowledge. I believe that the mags don't work in your rifle.

Chill out a bit. We've had enough locked threads on subjects like this.

thats the nature of all ak47 mags with a bolt hold feature, as the ak 47 has no way of holding the bolt back, other then a retrofit follower that locks it back
 
just got an e-mail from IRUNGUNS, they, ironically "run out" from metal Croatian mags and donno when they will replenish those.. very sad

Change the followers if you dont like that. The only good polymer AK mags are the bakelite, circle 10 waffles or US Palm mags since they have reinforced lugs *and* feedlips.
 
The only experience I have with AK mags is with the blued steel 40 and 30 rounders that Ive had for 30 yrs or so.That being said,I'm not a fan of any plastic mags,even for the AR's and dont have any.I only have one AK,its a milled Arsenal that I bought new around 1980.From what I have read, the particlar rifle has a lot to do with which mags work or dont work,so you should tell us exactly what you have.
