ive been skulking about the internet tonight looking at all the bookmarked companies i have on my browser and all the ones up above trying to find someone that carries some top shelf 22 ammo for bench shooting.

anyone know of a store that carries or can get in some good stuff?

Eley
SK
Lapua

and on that note, what are all the high end match grade stuff?

want to try to run some through a couple of my guns to see if it makes a difference.

thanks in advance for the help.

Hirsch precision has the lapua, target shooting products has the rest and supplies many of our Olympians

does anyone know who carries Federal Gold Match ULTRA MATCH?
i can find the normal Federal Gold Match, but not the Ultra Match.

from a couple of the reports i was reading last night that stuff outshoots a lot of of the entry level Eley and Lapua stuff and is suppose to be cheaper.

Most online places are showing that federal ultra match at $20+ a box of 50, never seen it in person but I know you can be shooting the very best of Lapua and Eley at that price. Not that it wouldn't be fun to try that federal if it can be found for less than those online prices.

Personally I shoot a mix of standard plus, rifle match and Center X from Hirsch Precision.
Its good to try a few things as some rifles have a preference but generally any of those will out do most rifles and most shooters and would often need to be shot indoor anyhow to be truly be able to put a number on it. Essentially from my trials outside I found center X gave smaller groups at 100yr/meters on average. At 50yard/meter its much harder to tell them apart, position and wind is too big a variable. Rifle match is great and cost effective and what I'll be buying the most of for my needs, then again best group so far we've had is with the cheapest of them Standard Plus.

5 bullets in each, a few were a little spread out due to trying different hold.

I got mine at SAIL they had a bunch to choose from. Not sure if they have it listed online.
