Where to get McMillian stocks in Canada

I looked at the Robertson stocks... I think they're all ugly. I'm vain, my guns must shoot well, and look good while doing it!

So how is this Ugly? It is a Robertson, just one that you do not find on their website at this time...

This is their tactical model.

I looks very McMillan'ish.

If you think that it's ugly, then you think McMillan's are ugly too.

Tell us, what is a good looking stock supposed to look like?

Ian....

on Dustin's dime.....what does the stock that gunpro weigh-cost-w/o adj. cheekpiece-cost for my 300RUM Sendero.......yeah I know, I could call, but I'm sure Dustin (one our 'homies'), would like know. ;)
I am sure finishing is extra.
Oh yeah....a tac stock possible for a tang safety S.A. 77? lol

Thanks
LeRoy
p.s. .... Them are beeeeutiful stocks-I don't care who ya are!!!!

I will be looking for a stock soon, can you explain why the Robertson is better quality??

On my McMillan you can see the webbing of glass fiber through finnish, looks like hell, I can twist the stock a little in my hands, can't twist the Robertson,
The Robertson is lighter and light years ahead in finnish,If you want a mcMillan for a S/A 700 make me a offer as I will be listing, soon

The stock in the picture. inletted, is $730. We only have them with a separate cheek right now so that includes the adjuster and a Decelerator pad at your lop.

Ian,
Is there a stock in the B&C Tactical range that you have for Savage S.A. 30cal.??? $300 price range or so, I'm thinking of buying B&C but if there are stocks around here that I can get, I sure will :D. PM me if anything.....

Light-weight Sporters

Ian,

Do you have a light weight classic sporter type stock? Something competitive with the Mcmillan Edge (approx 21-23 ozs.) or light weight Bansners? I looked around your site briefly and found one 'Hunter' model, listed at 3 pounds, 2 ozs. inletted. Myself and others I know would be interested in a Canadian built super light-weight sporter in a slim, compact 'classic' pattern. I realize that 'hunting' stocks probably aren't your 'bread & butter', and yet I would be interested in your thoughts or plans for this end of the market.

While I realize you must make sound business decisions based on your much broader knowledge of your markets, I personaly think you would do well with an offering or two in this end of the market. I will be ordering 2 of this type of stock in the near future and would prefer too buy Canadian, given quality products.

Regards,

David

I am looking at putting a Long Range Hunter on a 7RUM build. website shows 3.5lbs for stock weight and a quite email off to Ian confirms that the stock can be had at a weigh under 2 pounds no problem without giving anything up as far as strength or rigidity.

We make a lot of hunting stocks and can do the weight range you are after. We actually have a number of stocks which are not on the web site but have been just too busy to get that fixed. The pic is of our Mountain Hunter for example. It is a slim classic sort of style and will make that weight nicely. It has molded in texture. This comes finished in any colour(s) you like, no paint needed as well as pad etc. Don't hold the colour against us, it's all I had to photograph.

Other than the puce green colour Ian, that's a nice hunting stock.:dancingbanana:

Thanks.

Thank you, Ian. I was hoping that you already offered something like that. It looks great. The pattern has great lines and if the weight isn't a problem then I think you've sold at least one stock...........

I will be in touch for more specifics.

Oh, Ian my friend!!

Now if I we could just get a little competition between you and Wilcat stocks for some tang safety S.A. stocks!
