where to get moonclip tools?

brownells ttp:/www.brownells.com has just about anything you'll need

also ttp://www.moonclips.com

(add h in fron t of the ttp to make the link work we're not allowed to hotlink).

If you get the demooner get the aluminum one. The plastic ones break quite quickly

the TK moonsetter tool works like a charm- far better than the plastic remooner (which is OK, but after a few 100's your fingers get tired.

Or, you can skip the de-mooner and go with this product; RIMZ 625. They are a plastic moon clip and you don't need the de-mooning tool. Brownells sells them, I got them from Williams Arms in Port Perry, Ontario. Cost me $9.95 plus tax for 5 pieces.

The web sight is ###.beckhamdesign.com if you want to get more info.

The plastic ones are WAY easier to load/unload...however, they are also WAY
tougher to insert easily during a speed reload...not rigid enough!

I wouldn't recommend them as they don't work in my S&W 610.:( . I have also heard that these plastic moon clips will melt in a revolver but I can't confirm that as I can't even close the cylinder on my 610 when I tried to use them!

The one and only time I dropped a loaded RIMZ clip, it snapped. Not for me.
