Where to get my barrel threaded in S/W Ontario?

Hey guys,

So, first off I guess I should say I have a rifle in .308 and I want to add a muzzle brake so I'd like to get the barrel threaded. I have a few questions and I know you guys can help.

Is there a good place in southern Ontario that I can take my rifle to get threaded? (I don't want to ship it if I don't have to)
Whats the ruff, expected cost?
and should I get the brake first or get it threaded in the universal 5/8x24 and then start my search?

Grizzley Gunworks, he's between brantford and Cambridge, he did 3 slip on muzzle breaks for my buddies. He measures your muzzle and it fits exactly over and clamps with 4 machine screws (doesn't mark the barrel)

Do a google search for him and check it out, the muzzle break he made for my buddies .308 made recoil almost not existent. Very nice guy and a pleasure to deal with. He can also thread your barrel if that's the rout you are going.

Thanks, I know a lot of quality results come from out west but shipping for me is a last result. Just adds cost to the finished product and I want to avoid that if I can.

Casey's fast too...I had two shotgun barrels cut and threaded and in both cases he had them back to me the next day.

Tac ord, I've got a build there right now. Joe Krosech (sp) not sure if he's retired now. Hueron arms ive also only heard good things. I would stay away from grizzly for anything past the muzzle break. My chambering was so bad it had to cut off and redone, also I had to send my bolt to Coloardo to fix the firing pin hole.

Casey is great. So many times I have taken stuff to him, and he has it done within a couple of days and the work is excellent. Of course full builds take longer, he does some really nice work.
