Where to get percussion caps

Hey guys does anyone know where I can get percussion caps delivered without paying 150$ for shipping. Cabelas charged 150$ shipped to labrador.

I order from Wholesale Sports. Last order they charged me about 35$ shipping, for 5 tins of no.11's. Nobody near me ever has them in stock. I have tried ordering from Cabelas in the past and they wanted $300 to ship them along with a container of FF black powder. I have yet to to find a online vendor who will ship black powder cheap. It seems a few that I looked at wanted to see my PAL for powder and primers, I won't support business that make up their own firearms and explosives laws.

You'll find that just prior to your BP hunting season your local shops will bring in supplies...gorge on powder, caps, nipples, {accessories} while they're in stock. At least enough for the years hunting and target shooting. Next year, repeat.

Wholesale Sports has started a purchase book, if you buy primers and ammunition. I purchased primers at the Langley store and had to sign a book with name address etc. They did not ask for my PAL.

I'll will start buying ammunition, primers elsewhere from now on.

I couldn't find musket sized caps here if my life depended on it....ALAS.....


I fixed this up a few years ago and have only been able to make it go bang 3 times......

Im happy with my flintlocks and modern arms but I really want to stretch the legs of my Antique springfield rifle musket.

Higginson would have both #11 and musket caps.

^Can you not change the nipple out to a #11, thereby gaining the ability to shoot it with readily available caps?

Don't imagine it helps but I saw 'em in Crappy Tire, here, on Saturday. No idea what size though.
