Where to get stocks and metal bits to bring a lee back to life?

A Lee or a Lee-Enfield? They're not the same thing. Measure the barrel length first, then look at Marstar's site. Be advised that it will not be cheap.

johnone has a storage room full of spare stock's and bit's & piece's of this rifle.

I know Johnone is bringing in some parts, but there has not been any word in a few months. I believe the last ETA was may/june this year. I know I am planning on getting my No.1 MkIII* out of the rather fugly set of wood I got of Springfield Sporters, and into a nice pretty set of wood.

Lee-Enfield No1MkIII Parts

Hi,

You could also try ebay. Look for the vendor "leathern" from Gray, Maine.

I got a complete stockset restoration parts kit in excellent+++ condition for my BSA-Shirley No.4Mk1 Lee-Enfield. I had no problems with Canada Customs while it crossed the boarder via USPS. His prices are resonable and will gladly help you out.

Like some of the others have said, you could check with Marstar (Johnone) too if you don't mind waiting a while for their parts to come in.

I plan on getting a couple of magazines from him (Marstar) for my rifle.

Let us all know how you make out.

Welcome to the Lee-Enfield Brotherhood!

first go to www.skennerton.com and order the Small Arms Identification Series paperback on your rifle. It is inexpensive, and has large clear illustrated parts breakdown, a short history and shows all the accessories.
If you miss ONE lousy screw or other bit when you order parts, you will still have to pay shipping and handling for the one bit you missed.
