That rumour is getting old. Please stop spreading it.
As for availability, don't count on anything. Marstar said they were getting some last fall, didn't happen.
Just believe what Johnone tells us. I have made calls to Marstar and sometimes it seems like whoever answers the phone is on crack. I too have gotten some goofy answers regarding ammunition and guns. Goofy answers that don't encourage sales even when i WANT to buy something. Sorry Johnone, somebody on staff there is not the a helpful sales person you need.

New shipment of CZ 858 are in-bound to Wolverine Supplies from Czechoslovakia, so they are coming.
Only the new configurations that Marstar just imported were prohibbed (I think meetings and everything are still ongoing about it?), CZ-858s and other variants in beforehand are all fine. If no one has any in stock, check the EE. Czech surplus seems to be the most plentiful ammo around - be sure to clean after use.
It is highly unlikely that the RCMP would take it upon themselves to reclasify a rifle they have already made a ruling on. Currently the political reality in Ottawa is not exactly pro gun control and the RCMP really can't afford much more bad press. Its very likely that the FSN-01 is different then the 858 internally and got flagged. It could be an issue with production or something else, we'll just have to wait and see what John has to say.

Exactly what else can anyone do about it. All we know is one shipment of rifles has been held and reclassified by the RCMP, we don't know why, if its permanent or legit.
Are you going to write a flurry of MPs an make a stink about it? Lets say you do and it comes out that these rifles are CA receivers and therefore truely prohib? then you will have wasted political capitol on nothing. A better option is to wait and see, if it truely is BS then you actually have something to be agitated about.
Meanwhile Wolverine is bringing in a shipment of 858s. Lets do the math on this and I'll be very conservative. Lets say it is 1000 rifles(could easily be more) @ a cost of $200 each (actual cost is much more I'm sure) So he is into it for at the very least $200k, do you think he would not cancel that shipment if he truely thought the rifles were going to be reclassified as prohib?
Just relax, wait and see. This constant rumor mill in the face of logic is just childish.
