Well, I picked up super detailed backroad map books of northern alberta and one for central. Everything north of red deer, east of jasper, up to the border.

Got some suggested directions to go, places, areas, zones? (WMU's even?)

I'd like to go out for a couple days at a time... with my handy dandy little truck that I don't care about getting dented and scratched.

Someplace I can shoot, (I was told I have to call the municipality for wherever I want to go.. so just have to get some suggested locations).

Not necessarily hunt.. just set up ranges, target shoot in a bunch of different configurations, and have a good time camping.

Since I can now look them up.. how about sharing some areas with me?

Provided you have a PAL and using a non-restricted firearm..and..you have a safe backstop/area to shoot , you should be fine.
Check for restrictions ( some places do have extra rules/regulations) for the crownland your on .
