I've got an complete barrelled action Mossberg 46M-B (was mannlicher stocked) 22LR that was my fathers target gun in the 40's....the stock has long since gone missing and I haven't found any source for parts. Any ideas on where I might look for replacement parts(the stock)? Tried Boyd's they don't list it. I'd like to put this gun back to original condition.
Thanks

for a stock id guess your gonna have to make it yourself or get someone to make it for you.
since no one has it template'd they wont be mass producing it (like boyd's) so your gonna have to have a one off cut.

as for parts id try Western Gun Parts in Edmonton, they are listed as a parts source for Mossberg.
actually they may even have a stock for you, ya never know!

Watch ebay or gun broker. One will turn up sooner or later. I got a very nice condition stock off of ebay for a Mossberg 51M flat back full wood. Thought I would have a very hard time finding one. Went onto ebay and low and behold one was listed. Got it for $35.00. I was a happy camper.

46 M-B is a tricky one, as I'm pretty sure it's 2 pieces of wood n' metal armature. Don't overlook a conventional 46b stock...It won't be full of 'surpy goodness, or authentic to rifle n' family history, but it certainly will work. Not a bad stock either...the 46's are target rifles. You can still chase the original stock in the meantime.

When you do get to squeeze the trigger get ready for glee. These 'ol gems tend to be fantastic shooters.
