Where to Order/Preorder Tar-21?

Mixer is correct, IWI ceased production of the TAR 21/SAR 21 a few years ago shortly after introducing the x95 to the civilian markets both north and south of the border. What's here is here as there is no more new production, however there are still plenty of spare parts available.

Thank you, new to modern small arms learned a lot thanks! Do you know if any online retailers will have any X95 in stock? Looking to buy one seems like an upgrade to the Tavor 21.

Nothing wrong with the x95 but there are tradeoffs between it and the tar21 models, consider if weight matters a lot to you and the price of tar21s are typically less than x95s for similar accuracy and reliability. Not a small purchase and both are here in Canada in decently sized quantities so feel no pressure to buy new

Sounds like cope, x95 is superior in terms of accuracy and reliability. Also much better controls on the x95. just dont be wrong handed I guess

I thought all the controls can be reversed if one was wrong handed?

Yes they can be. My Tavor was set up for left hand.

There is no difference in reliability and accuracy between a TAR-21 and X95. Both are very reliable. Accuracy on both is adequate for what the platform was designed for. The only real difference is ergonomics and rail space. Ergonomics comes down to user preference.

In my case the TAR-21 is the better rifle. I prefered the Israeli shooting stance they developed for the rifle. I can't do that with a X95.

Both are excellent rifles. You can't go wrong with either or.

You totally can. The angle isn't as comfortable, but they definitely designed it with the 6 points of contact in mind. Even on the pistol grip without the cutlass, they added enough of a surface on the trigger guard that you can at least lock your wrist into it.
