Hi,

The wife would like me to part ways with mounts and rugs as part of a renovation, and while I hate to part with them it's still a better option than parting with her :)

Figured I would try and probe the vast knowledge on the site to see if anyone knows a good spot to list the following mounts/rugs? They are all in excellent condition and the taxidermy is top notch so would like to recoup at least part of the investment.

African mounts
Cats
Colour phased bear rugs all 6-7' including a nice grizzly
185" mule deer

Thanks in advance for any input/advice.

Your African mounts you can sell to whom ever you want depending on if you have cites animals. I’m confident the same with bear. However. Your cats possibly might have to be registered with F&W and am very confident you will have to register the mulie with F&W. don’t just throw your gear on kijiji without consulting F&W. you could be opening a can of worms. Enjoy

Ditto on the permissions step. Years ago I hunted in Saskatchewan with no issues taking my whitetail meat and antlers out of province. The last time, I needed to get a form from SERM. No money, just a bit more on-the-record information.

What kind of cats?

Convert the bearskins to blankets. No way I'd get rid of the grizzly or the muley.
