Where To Shoot Around Red Deer AB?

Hey all.

Where is there a club to shoot skeet and sporting clay around Red Deer?

Trying to decide if I should pack 2 shotguns for such events..............

Rocky Mountain house is fairly close to you...very nice little range and cheap yearly membership

About an 1 hour and 13 minute trip, according to Google.

There is a local club with a range (Red Deer Fish and Game Assoc.they have a website) but when I tried to get access to their rifle range I was told it was for members only, so I had to use a private range at the North end of the city. Might pay to send them an email and find out what they have for shotguns. Let me know what you find out, if there is something available I'll bring my shotguns next time I visit my daughter and her family

Silver Willow Sporting Clays is a little further south at Carstairs. Worth the drive. The Red Deer club has moved. I think they are now at Olds. Havn't been there yet, but have heard nothing but good.

I was at the Red Deer range last year and they were not set up for clay shooting. Welcome back to Alberta Max.
