Picked up a hoghunter for the wife in .223 going to make her a precision scout rifle out of it... First thing that has to go is the stock, this version of the 11 sa rifle has no bottom metal, no floor plate, it had an internal mag. So my question is what aftermarket stocks can I buy in Canada to work with it? I want aluminum bedding and can it be setup with a regular magwell with floor plate? Or can you find drop in stocks that will accept the internal mag system? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You want a full aluminum bedding block? HS Precision and Choate come to mind. Also getting a Boyds and pillar bedding it would work well.

Talk with mystic precision. Im sure he will be by shortly.

I'll have a look, I have my eye on the magpul hunter for my VTR, I'm shooting it in the whippy hogue stock total garbage, it hates the bipod but works decent if you use a sandbag, anyone try stiffening the forearm up by filling it in with epoxy or anything?

I usually throw them in the trash... ;)

That's sort of the rout I'm looking at... Hogues are trash. To shoot with your rifle set in one you have to bite your tongue just right and hold your head just so or you'll throw them all over the map. I'll likely cough the cash up and get a magpul this summer.
