Been kicking around the idea of buying another Norinco 1911, 45 cal model, but I'll be d***ed if I can find any for sale. I can find 9mm or shorter barrel versions, but a standard 5" .45 seems to be rarer than hens teeth nowadays. Anyone have any info as to why? Or perhaps Im just blind??
Edit: Thanks for the pms, looks like Marstar just got a few more in, they were still out of stock last time I checked.

Norinco 1911A1 .45 ACP

The unmarked GI type ones come up on the EE once in awhile.

They were a pretty good bang for the buck when they were first offered....

Got the one I wanted (5" with adjustable sights) lightly used, from a local dealer, but not as cheap has they were. Mine shoots like a dream and I love it. Regardless, I am happy.

Not many bnib on ee..but several ‘lightly used’ regularly apear...has Canada ammo stopped selling Norinco?...

I’d wait for older (2008 manufactured or older) used or bnib 1911s on the EE. IMO they were better fitted and finished back then.

I bought 2 new 1911s about 6 years ago and while they were nice to shoot, decided were not worth my limited safe space.

Great guns, I got 3 of the unmarked models and two, two tones,I just use one of the plain ones mostly, others are still in the grease! I bought the 3, hoping my sons would be interested but they aren't into it as much, so you might see one of my unmarked and a two tone on the EE in the next 3-4 months! Of all the handguns I have fired so far, oddly enough, the 1911 fits me the best!

Had one just like that with an Ed Brown bushing. Sold it for $300 bones. You can’t beat Norinco for the price, now my P220 and Les Baer has more ammo between the both of them
