I’m trying to save or like posts I want to go back to you by Adding them as a subscription, but I can’t find the subscription button to see my list. Where is it? Also, is there a like or star button I can click to just add a post to a favourites list?

If you go to the top banner where it says "quick links" your subscribed threads is an option.
Click on your own name should get to a place where that's available as well.

At the top of the page: Notifications > Inbox > (on the left side of page) My Subscriptions
