Where's the place for oddball mounts/rails?

I'm thinking of putting a long eye relief scope on a Savage 99. The problem is the only mounts I can find are the standard ones. Ideally I'd like something like the rail on a Browning BLR black label Monte Carlo. Does anyone know if such a thing exists or of a company does custom mounts?

Your probably going to have to go custom made. Either extended forward from the receiver or or attached to the barrel. The Savage 99 isn’t a big market so no one has bothered making anything. I have a couple forward mounted scopes and do like them. Possibly tap and drill the barrel and find exsisting mounts to fit would be the cheapest option
