Which 22 1911

Thanks for the help in advance.

Debating which of the 1911 22LR clones to get in the coming weeks.
The GSG and Sig seem to be the two most popular at the moment. I might be wrong but it looks like the Sig is just a GSG with their name on it, in which case why pay 50-100 more + 10-20 for each spare mag.

Never had anything but bad luck with every Colt I've ever had and the Browning isn't genuinely 1911 compatible so wont work with any of my leather so I' not looking at those, and haven't heard or seen many Kimbers.

Also curious as to whether anyone has tried to low mount a Bo-mar or Smith K sights on one.

N.B. This will mainly be used as a practice gun for IPSC so it will definitely be shot regularly.

Thought about the 22 top end but most/alot seem to be close to the price of the GSG.

With the $100 limit for US purchases makes it a pain to score Ceiner stuff now + recent news about him makes me hesitant.

Haven't tried one, but based on the reviews I've read,

the GSG is much better.

A buddy has the gsg (all black) and its both our favorites out of the 6 of hiss 22 pistols.

if you can find one (they're rare like hens teeth in Canada), the Browning 100th year anniversary edition 1911-22-A1 is nifty. it's 75% the size of an actual 1911 and I just put a deposit down on the one that Wanstall's had.

I just bought the sig 1911-22 at wanstalls. I was told tighter tolerances on the sig. vs the gsg. But I wont find out till saturday hopefully when I get my latt.
