I'm looking at buying a another .22 or else buying a different stock for my current ruger 10/22

Option 1
Buy the Archangel Nomad Stock and retro fit it ont my current .22. I'd guess its gone through 5 000+ rounds. Arrives in a few days.

Option 2
Order in a beretta arx160 from Irunguns. I would receive sometime in July.

Option 3
Just find the best local deal and buy a ruger sr22.

Help with choice please.

Look through the EE, lots of different options pop up on a regular basis, make someone else's loss your gain.

Yup so today I found and bought brand new a ruger sr22 for $655. Also bought a henry .22 pump action. Love these two guns.

I would still like my beretta arx 160 and maybe something else from the states but I found too many "not make me want to go this route" reviews on ILoveGuns.

Here is what I've found myself doing when it comes to 22 rifles. I buy a different action type, first 22 was a Browning BPR-22 pump. Second a Marlin Model 39A, third Steven Favorite, fourth CZ 455 American, and fifth was my Marlin Model 60. Pump, Lever, Falling block, Bolt, and Autoloader. I'm not counting the Stevens autoloader I inherited from Granddad.

Diversity is fun. Now I can go and get other guns in similar action styles.

I popped into this thread looking to recommend a nice bolt gun, but only see black guns listed from the options. Can't be of much use there, but the SR-22 is kind of a cool rifle in the flesh. Still, at it's heart is a 10/22 and I've yet to see/shoot a 10/22 that says "I'm worth $700" to me. Variety is the spice of life though, so to each their own.
